SEPTEMBER 2011                                Please see term breaks on timetable page
Welcome to the next season of dance and vocal classes. OMG! So much coming up!
Please see the new timetable, containing more infant and adult classes than before.
*New  toddlers class, novice adult Monday tap and novice adult Thursday ballet classes.
Show
We are planning a new show this year (venue  to be decided) but the working title is
'Smart Cookies!' and I hope that the children will have great fun preparing it.
Exams:
RAD Ballet Grade 3 and 7 this term. ISTD Silver and tap Intermediate & Advanced 2
OLYMPIC DANCE AWARD
A great chance to win this award (this year only). We will be entering as many kids as want to do this and will be booking a date for Spring. Please respond early as exam days will be in high demand.
Picnic
Those who came along thoroughly
enjoyed the school picnic, especially the dogs! Thank you for coming and having a really fun-filled day!

Singing  The new Theatre singing is taking off and slots are filling up.
Children can start from 5 years old. Rockschool 'rocks' too!
New set of Grade 2 jazz children starting on Tuesdays - St Martin's at 4.10pm
BACS
I am looking into BACS payments for term fees for those with a regular payment record.
It will be necessary  to re- introducing the surcharge on unreasonably late payments. There will be no rise in fees this September
Hoodies  I will be organising dance hoodies this term (chest 32" upwards)
Workshop
I will be able to organise some future workshops BUT these need to be attended well enough and so will need a minimum of ten pupils in order to go ahead each time.
Class attendance needs to improve this year! If you miss a class it is your responsibility to check if there have been any changes to times and what content you have missed.
We are spending too much time going over old ground due to casual attendance and  a   private lesson will be needed if a pupil begins delay class progress.

Sewing
Amy and I are willing to take a sewing class for those who have told us you
cannot sew.  For simple things like buttons, hems, zips, darts - we are willing to help if you
are willing to come along.  We are also happy to include other items of need like 'how to dye costumes'

Best wishes go to former pupil Rachel Knight and her new baby boy Zachery, born July 17

Thank you all for your  continued support.
I cannot wait to see what ideas the children have in mind for me this term!
Let's have a 'razzle-dazzle' year!
